![]() ![]() Freyja is the Norse Goddess of love, beauty, battle, and seidr; She is strongly associated with gold and amber. This little black and white ink piece is after the images on little gold plaques found in the Scandinavian lands, though no on quite knows what they were originally for, as they are very tiny (less than a centimeter tall in many cases), and do not have holes in them for attaching to clothing or the like. I have made Her cloak look like a bird's wing, as Freyja was said to have a magic cloak of falcon feathers that transformed Her into a falcon when worn.
